Ral Waltower was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he made an initial confession of faith at the early age of eleven. Unfortunately, upon entering the doors of college, as has happened all too often with many of our young adults, he put his faith in Jesus on the book shelf along with last semester’s books. However, through the humbling act of being broke and broken, God was able to get his attention and he made a full and serious re-dedication to the Lord Jesus in 1991.

After fully submitting to the will of God, the Lord began to unfold His will for Ral Waltower's life. Also in 1991, he met his wife Shirley and after a 2 ½ year courtship, they married and recently celebrated 22 joyous years of marriage, during which God has blessed them with four beautiful daughters - Shayna, Mayah, RiAnna and Tia.

Pastor Waltower was licensed in 2006, ordained in 2009 and later installed as a Campus Pastor in Atlanta, Ga. During these years the Lord began to shape a Pastoral call upon his life. In 2012 he acknowledged the call of the Holy Spirit and received the blessings of his spiritual father and was “sent” to do the Lord’s work as founder and senior pastor of True Gospel Christian Church in Macon, Georgia. Through the guidance of the Holy Spirit, True Gospel Christian Church now has a location in Malawi, Africa and TGCC McDonough will be opening its doors in the summer of 2016.

Pastor Waltower is the author of his first book entitled, “Doing the Ordained Thing: You Were Created For This.” He has a God-given passion to see the true Body of Christ come together as one as well as to teach, preach and mentor so that others may grow in their relationship and walk with the Lord Jesus. He believes the best testimony a believer can give is to live the Word of God. He lovingly challenges those around him to grow and mature in their relationship with Christ. He has often said, "It is about building people and not building buildings.”

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.  I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.  ~ Psalms 91:1,2 ~

"Every line that we have drawn in the sand, through our compromise we have allowed the world to cross over and redraw our line. Their agenda and anti-Christ views have pushed our backs so far against the wall that we are starting to look like wallpaper. In whatever way you can, Take A Stand Today"

Shirley was born and raised in Augusta, Ga where she attended T.W. Josey High School. She went on to complete the nursing program at Florida State College and became licensed as an R.N. where she worked primarily in neo-natal and pediatric nursing for 12 years. After the birth of their first child, she followed their pre-marital vision of her being an at-home mom where she unselfishly gives and pours herself as a homeschooling mom and loving wife.  She has touched many lives with her quiet and meek spirit that causes many women to see her as a welcoming and approachable woman of God.

Let the mature women admonish the young women to love their husbands and to love their children

~Titus 2:3-5 ~

"Pastor Waltower, the Girls and I, along with the True Gospel Christian Church Family Invite you to come join us on this exciting God ordained journey to Bear Witness of the Truth."

We love him, because he first loved us.
